It’s fall, that time of year when I always want a warm drink in hand!  Unfortunately, so many of the yummy pumpkin spice drinks are full of sugar and not what I want to be putting into my body on a regular basis.  Enter Golden Milk.  It’s creamy, it’s great warm or cold, and it’s full of spices that do a whole lot of good for your body.

Turmeric gives this drink the glowing, golden color and is a powerful anti-inflammatory spice.

Ginger adds a little spice and is great for supporting digestion.

Cinnamon is a powerhouse spice–it’s anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, helps balance blood sugar and may decrease cholesterol.

Cardamom is an antioxidant and may also help your body detox.

I love drinking this in the afternoon when my energy tends to drag and I crave a little sweetness. So this fall, when you are tempted to reach for a sugary drink, try golden milk instead!

Anti-Inflammatory Golden Milk

This yummy drink is great warm or cold and is packed full of healthy spices!

  • 1 cup Cashew, almond, oat or organic whole milk
  • ¼ cup full fat canned coconut milk
  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp ground ginger
  • tsp ground cardamom
  • ¼ tsp vanilla powder
  • 1 tsp pure maple syrup


  • Whisk all the ingredients together until well combined, or blend together in high speed blender.
  • Serve chilled, over ice, or warm.
